The University of Ibadan, Ibadan, hereby requests all candidates who made the University their First choice in the 2009/2010 UME and scored 200 and above, to submit the results of their SSCE WASC/NECO or equivalent certificate ONLINE directly through http://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng or clicking on the “Result Submission” link at the top of this page, on or before Saturday 21 July 2009.

Bona-fide candidates who are expecting the release of their results CANNOT participate in the current on-line exercise, until such results are released. SSCE or equivalent results released after 31st August 2009 will not be considered for the 2009/2010 Admissions Exercise.

Instructions

(i) Present JAMB result slip and pay N2,000.00 into U.I. Students Fee Account (See datails below) at any of the approved branches of Afribank, First Bank and Wema Bank (See List of approved branches above) nearest to you:

(iii) With information from the “Bank Slip” log into the admission portal on-line, using JAMB Reg. No. and PIN, (http://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng) to submit biodata and results.

(iv) The on-line forms are carefully filled following ALL necessary instructions, as “mistake(s)” may lead to disqualification.

B(i) Please fill the form in CAPITAL letters only

(ii) Multiple submissions may lead to disqualification.

(iii) Please ensure that you check your entries properly before clicking on Submit as you may not be able to make any corrections thereafter. You can revisit the page to complete submission anytime provided the final submission has not been made.

(iv) Kindly use functional E-mail addresses and Telephone numbers to enable us reach you in the course of the Admission exercise, whenever the need arises.

Names of short listed candidates for the Interactive/Screening Sessions will be displayed on the University’s Website.

4. Candidates should please note that it is only when an ‘O’ level result is deficient for a course of choice, that another result may be presented to compliment the deficient one. Candidates presenting two ‘O’ level results (2 sittings) should ensure that, the comprehensive details of, both results are submitted.

5. The deadline for submission of ‘O’ level results may not be extended. Any candidate whose results are not submitted at the stipulated time may not be considered for admission.

6. Misrepresentation of document is a serious offence. Candidates are therefore advised to submit genuine document only. Any one found guilty of this offence will be disqualified automatically and may be handed over to the Law Enforcement Agents.

This is to inform all candidates who participated in the Post UME 2009 Screening Exercise of the University that the results are ready. Candidates are adviced to visit the University Website from Monday, June 22, 2009 to check their Post UME 2009 results.

Candidates who participated in the screening test as Problem Candidates are adviced as follows;

1. CANDIDATES WHO DID NOT REGISTER ONLINE: Those candidates who did not Register online, but took the screening test are required to go online and complete their online registration forms immediately. After completing their online regstration form, such candidates are required to contact the WebMaster with valid details of such registration, to facilitate the uploading of their result.

2. CANDIDATE WHO REGISTERED ONLINE, BUT TOOK THE SCREENING TEST AS PROBLEM CANDIDATES FOR WHATEVER REASON: In order to facilitate the uploading of their results online, such candidates are required to contact the WebMaster with valid details of their online registration.

The Federal University of Technology, Minna 2009/2010 Post UME screening exercise is scheduled to start as from Thursday, 2nd –Saturday, 4th July, 2009.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR EVERY PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATE TO CAREFULLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW BEFORE PROCEDING FURTHER

1. Those eligible to participate
i. All Remedial candidates of Federal University of Technology, Minna
ii. UME candidates who chose FUT, Minna either as first or second choice ONLY and who scored 180 and above in the 2009 JAMB exams.
iii. Direct Entry (DE) candidates who chose FUT, Minna as first or second choice ONLY.

2. Online Registration
For UME and FUT Remedial candidates:
i. Candidates must register online on the FUT Minna website: www.futminna.edu.ng

ii. Upon accessing the website, candidates should click on ‘2009/2010 Post UME registration’ link (available on the left column of the website home page)

iii. After clicking, a page where candidate can enter registration number appears. Enter your JAMB registration number and click ‘submit’ button.

iv. Next, a page containing relevant information on the candidate will be displayed.

v. The page should be printed out and candidate’s passport photograph should be affixed, after printing.

For Direct Entry Candidates:
i. Direct Entry candidates should register using online registration form provided on the website.
ii. Upon accessing the website, candidates should click on ‘2009/2010 Post JAMB registration (Direct Entry) link (available on the left column of the website home page).
iii. After clicking, candidates are to provide the following information on the registration form:

(a). JAMB registration number
(b). Full name
(c). Sex
(d). Local Government Area
(e). State of Origin
(f). School of choice
(g). Course of choice.
iv. On the completion of the online registration exercise, candidates should click ‘submit’ button.

v. Next, a page containing relevant information on the candidate will be displayed.

vi. The page should be printed out and candidate’s passport photograph should be affixed, after printing.

3. Dates and Venues for the Screening Exercise
i. The screening exercise will be conducted at the Bosso Campus and the Main Campus, Gidan Kwano (Km 14 along Minna -Bida Road).
ii. Candidates should report on the specified dates and at the appropriate venues as indicated below:

(a). Gidan Kwano Campus: For candidates applying to:
i. School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology and School of Environmental Technology on Thursday. 2nd July, 2009.
ii. For candidates applying to School of Science and Science Education on Friday, 3rd July, 2009.

(b.) Bosso Campus: For candidates applying to School of Engineering and Engineering Technology only on Saturday, 4th July, 2009.

4. General Information
i. Candidates should print out their online registration form after duly completing them.

ii. Completed registration forms must be presented with passport photograph attached to it during the screening exercise.

iii. JAMB registration slip (DE and UME candidates) and result slip (UME candidates) must be presented at the venue of the screening.

iv. All candidates must obtain a bank draft for the sum of N1, 000.00) One Thousand Naira) only from any commercial bank payable to FUT, Minna. The bank draft is a non-refundable administrative charge and is to be presented at the screening venue.

v. All candidates should arrive at the screening venue by 8.00 a.m.

vi. Candidates should bring along writing materials (biro, pencil and eraser).

vii. Candidates will have to purchase “SCRATCH CARD” at the venue of the exam for the sum of N1000.00 only. This is to enable candidatesb check their exam score and admission status.

viii. Candidates are strongly advised to register on time as the website will be closed for registration from mid-night of 30th June, 2009.

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) invites all candidates who chose FUTA as first or/ and second choice and obtained a minimum score of 200 in the Universities
Matriculation Examination (UME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board
(JAMB) in April 2009 for a Post-UME screening in the University at 11.00 a.m. on Saturday,
11th July 2009.

All candidates who chose FUTA as first or/and second choice for the Direct Entry Admission for
the 2009/2010 academic session are invited for a Pre-Admission Screening on Saturday, 18th
July, 2009.

Candidates are required to download and complete the Post-UME/DE Registration
Form by accessing the University website (www.futa.edu.ng) as from Wednesday, 17th June,
2009 up till 12 midnight on Sunday 5th July, 2009.

1. Candidates are requested to bring with them for the UME Screening /Pre-Admission
Screening exercise the following:
i. Writing Materials
ii Completed Registration Forms (downloaded from the FUTA website)
iii JAMB UME Notification of Results
iv Depositor’s Copy of Bank Teller(s)

2(a) Candidates are required to pay the sum of One Thousand Naira (N1, 000.00)
(Registration Fee) into any branch of the following Banks depending on the School of
Choice, on or before Tuesday, 7th July 2009. The depositor’s copy of the Bank Teller
should be brought to the University on the day of the Screening/ Pre-Admission Exercise.
(b) Access to the on-line facility for checking of the P-UME results will be subject to
payment of One Thousand Naira (N1, 000.00) per candidate for scratch cards to the
appropriate bank as specified below:

3. Scratch cards will be made available to all candidates at the venue of the screening
exercise on the provision of evidence of payment of the prescribed fee.

4. The venues of the screening would depend on the candidate’s choice of School i.e.
(SAAT, SEET, SET, SEMS, or SOS). On arrival, candidates should report directly at the
respective School venues which would be placed on notice boards at the two entrance
gates to the University.

5. Each candidate shall be required to submit his/her Registration Form to the Invigilator
before the commencement of the screening.

6. The University views cases of examination misconduct seriously. Candidates are
therefore advised in their own interest to:
i. comport themselves properly during the screening exercise;
ii. note that connivance with someone else to appear for the screening exercise and
other various acts of cheating are forbidden;
iii. note that candidates are not allowed to bring cell phones or similar electronic
gadgets into the examination hall;
iv. note that any candidate who comes into the examination hall later than thirty (30)
minutes after the commencement of the screening shall not be allowed into the
hall.

Any UME candidate who fails to present himself/herself for the Screening exercise as scheduled
on Saturday 11th July, 2009 will NOT be considered for admission.
Similarly, any Direct Entry candidate who fails to present himself/herself for the Pre-Admission
Test as scheduled on Saturday 18th July, 2009 will NOT be considered for admission.
