This is to inform all candidates who made Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina their first or second choice and others interested in admission into the University with a score of 180 and above that a Post-UTME Examination is scheduled as follows:

* Tuesday 26th July, 2011: Candidates who made UMYU their first choice

* Wednesday, 27th July, 2011: Candidates who made UMYU their second choice; and

* Thursday, 28th July, 2011: Candidates who did not choose UMYU.

B. FEES PAYABLE

C. CANDIDATES SHOULD COME WITH THE FOLLOWING:

A. Invitation and Eligibility

This is to inform candidates who made the Kwara State University as their first or second choice or interested in KWASU who must have changed their institutions through JAMB and scored 200 in the last JAMB UTME for 2011/2012 admission, including candidates for Direct Entry, are invited for screening which commences on Monday 18th July, 2011 at 9.00am in the University Campus Auditorium, Malete,,, in these order:

Monday 18 – 22 July, 2011- Candidates who made KWASU their first choice.
Monday 1 – 5 August, 2011- Candidates who made KWASU their second choice.
Monday 8 – 12 August, 2011 – Candidates who do not choose KWASU but are interested.

B. Screening Fees
The screening fee is N1,000.00, while administrative charges is N500.00. The fees should be paid into any of the following bank Account Numbers:

This is to invite all candidates who chose Kaduna State University to the screening exercise as follows:

1. FIRST CHOICE in all degree programmes
2. Scored 180 and above in the 2011/2012 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)

Details of the screening exercise will be shown on your registration slip as soon as you complete your registration.

Sale of Scratch Cards

This will commence on Wednesday, 8th July, 2009 and close on Monday 20th July 2009. Eligible candidates are expected to purchase a scratch card of N1,000.00 (One thousand Naira only) from Unity Bank branches at Bakori House Kaduna, Zaria Main branch and Kafachan branch.

Method of Registration

* Eligible candidates MUST complete the online form as failure to do so automatically forfeits his/her chance of being allowed to participate in the Post UME Screening Exercise.
* After purchase of scratch card, click on the REGISTER NOW button below; to enter your JAMB Registration Number and PIN Number.
* An eligible candidate is requested to upload his/her scanned COLOUR passport photograph with RED or WHITE background in JPEG format which should not exceed 10Kb.
* On uploading the passport, a candidate is expected to first preview, confirm, and then click on the CONTINUE button to complete his/her application.
* Your o’level results and the Screening Exercise subjects must be entered. If you are awaiting for your O’Level results, indicate by typing AR against the subjects.
* No complaint of wrong or blank picture or wrong information entered will be entertained after submission.
* Application website will close by midnight on Monday 20th July 2009.

The registration slip and the bank teller will be demanded of the candidate to identify him/her at the screening centre to enable him/her to participate in the exercise.The photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in the University.

The candidates should come along to the screening centre with the following items as failure to do so automatically forfeits his/her chance of being considered for 2011/2012 admission into the University:

1. 2 copies of your online Registration Slip.
2. Writing Materials (HB Pencils, sharpeners, biros and Eraser). Note that GSM and calculators or any other electronic devices are NOT allowed.
3. Four Figure Table (where applicable).
4. Payment Receipt.
5. One passport-size photograph.

Important Note
Any impersonator will be handed over to the law enforcement agents.

This is to inform the general public that the Post-UTME Screening Exercise of the Niger Delta University for the 2011/2012 session will take place as indicated below.

1. ELIGIBILITY

* Candidates who chose Niger Delta University as first choice ONLY, the PUME screening exercise for second choice candidates may come later
* Minimum UME score for all candidates is 180

2. REGISTRATION
Registration is online on our website at www.ndu.edu.ng or at www.ndu.ac starting from Monday, 1st of August, 2011 to Sunday, 21st of August, 2011.

The Registration Process is as follows

i. Go to any Diamond or Skye Bank branch in Nigeria along with your UTME Registration slip.

ii. Purchase an e-pin slip for Niger Delta University Post-UTME screening for a fee of 2,000 Naira ( two thousand Naira). The University cannot subsidize other charges such as Bank charges. iii. Go online and log onto www.ndu.edu.ng and link the site www.ndu.ac or go directly to www.ndu.ac , and click on ‘Apply for Post-UTME screening exercise ’. Complete the online application for Post-UTME screening.

iv. The Passport photograph- the passport photograph will be captured by using a web camera available on the computer you are using for the online registration. You do not need to scan a photogragh and upload for the registration. Applicants must ensure that the computer they are using has a web camera.

v. Print out the generated Acknowledgment Letter and your Application form. Your seat number for the screening exercise will be indicated on the form.

You must bring these (Acknowledgment letter and Application form) along to the screening venue.

Candidates are advised to make photocopies of the Acknowledgment Letter and the Application form. Candidates without the Acknowledgement Letter and Application form will not be allowed to do the Post-UTME screening exercise.

vi. Notification for Post-UTME exerciseYou will receive a notification through SMS via telephone and by e-mail indicating whether or not you are qualified to do the screening exercise. The dates for your screening exercise will also be available on our web site www.ndu.edu.ng NOTE1. Your application will not be successful if:

* your UTME score is less than 180
* the appropriate e-pin was not used
* If you enter a State of origin different from the one indicated on your JAMB Registration Form.

2. Always check your e-mail box for mails.

3. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS READ AND FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY

i. Passport Photograph – scanned photographs will not be accepted by the online registration system. Ensure that the computer you are using has a web camera which will take your passport photograph.

ii. Use the same name as you used in your UTME.

iii. Submit two valid e-mail addresses and phone numbers in your registration form. (Niger Delta University will not be held responsible if you use invalid e-mail and Telephone numbers)

The Screening process is time consuming, given the fact that it involves Biometric techniques such as finger printing, late comers will not be screened.

Those resident outside Yenagoa/Wilberforce Island are advised to come a day earlier. The University is not responsible for accommodating any candidate.

Applications are invited from suitable qualified candidates for admission into underlisted Degree programmes.

Candidates who sat for 2011 JAMB examination into Delta State University or in other Nigeria Universities are eligible to apply.

Entry Requirements:

A candidate must posses one of the following qualifications:

(a) Five O’ Level credit passes in WASEC/SSCE/NECO, which must include two relevant science subjects in addition to Mathematics and English language in not more than two sittings.

(b) Direct Entry

In addition to (a) above, direct entry candidates must also possess either one of the following:

i National Diploma in relevant discipline from a recognized Polytechnic or College of Technology.

ii OND or Intermediate Diploma of the Nigeria Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT).

The Degree programme is run on a part-time bases for five years, for candidates admitted with criteria specified in (a) and four years for candidates admitted with criteria specified in (b) above.

On successful completion of the programme, the candidates will be awarded the B.Sc. in Science Laboratory Technology degree, with specialization in any of the following options:

i Aquaculture & Fisheries Technology vi Chemistry/Petrochemical Technology

ii Biochemistry Technology vii Microbiology Technology

iii Biological Technology viii Physics with Electronics Technology

iv Environmental Science Technology ix Physiology & Pharmacology Technology

v. Geology & Mining Technology

METHOD OF APPLICATION

v Candidates are required to pay N10,000 and obtain a DELSU Visual Pin from any of the branches of Oceanic Bank Nigeria Plc nationwide.

v Candidates should, with the Visual Pin access and complete the Delta State University, Abraka 2011/2012 ISLT Admission form online at http://www.delsuonline.com with their recent coloured passport size photograph uploaded into the form. NB: Must be a JPEG File (160×120) pixels.

v Candidates are advised to read the instructions on the home page of the website before completing the application form.

v Online Application starts on September 1, 2011 and closes by January 21, 2012.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

Selection of candidates for the various courses shall be based on a competitive Aptitude Test on January 28, 2012. Candidates are expected to come with the following materials.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

* GSM, electronics calculators and other devices are not allowed into the examination hall.
* Parents, Guardians and other unauthorized personnel will not be allowed on campus and at the screening centers during the Post UTME Exercise.
* Candidates are expected to bring writing materials to the venue of the screening.
* Double registration disqualifies a candidate from the screening exercise.
* Candidates who fraudulently changed their choice of Universities will also be disqualified.

N.B. Online Registration formalities end on midnight of 12th August 2011.
